I have sewn and made things for as long as I can remember, wrestling with meters of fabric on the kitchen table was a common sight as I made countless curtains and blinds for my own home, my family and friends.

The love and interest in upholstery came later with my Grans old wing chair, it was part of my childhood memories and was in need of some intensive care, I took great joy in breathing new life into what had become a tatty and unloved family heirloom. It's wonderful to be able to pass to these treasures on to the next generation, as every chair has its own story to tell...

Years later and with additional qualifications, skills and experience, my passion has grown into a small family business. A happy outcome of an unexpected redundancy, gave me the opportunity to retrain and I am now a qualified member of the  Association of Master Upholsterers & Soft Furnishers.

Restoring a  beautiful piece of  traditional furniture, or recovering a modern design... each item will be given the highest attention to detail for that handcrafted bespoke finish.

I look forward to meeting you, and your chair..
